Professional Experience
Textline
A tool that helps businesses send and receive text messages to aid in their customers’ experience and talk with team members.
Product Manager (2018 - Present)
As the sole product manager, I work with our design and engineering teams to bring feature and product updates to fruition. The process starts by working with our sales and customer success teams to speak with leads and current customers to better understand their needs and workflows. I then take those findings to create and maintain our product roadmap. I also write and maintain our support center and API documentation repositories to aid in product and feature adoption.

Text messaging is a regulated space, so I read and follow developments in the law, regulations, and technology so that we can stay ahead.

BrightGauge Software
A business intelligence software that provides dashboards, reports, scorecards, and benchmarking for customers using pre-built integrations.
2014 – 2018

Integration Product Manager (2016 - 2018)
I created the integration team, a job previously done by the CEO and contract developers. I built out new integrations by determining customer needs and then analyzing the data available. From there, I would write the necessary code to get the data into our application.
As the company grew, I passed on the workflow I had built and then became a coordinator and resource for my colleagues. A major part of my new role was coordinating with other software companies, making sure we were compliant with their requirements and adapt if needed. I ended up building or oversaw the building of 22 new integrations, a 220% increase.

Customer Success Manager (2014 - 2016)
I created a team to onboard new and re-invigorate existing customers. This included designing an onboarding workflow and partially automating it by building a health score to gauge usage, onboarding status, and adoption of the software.
To onboard customers, we started with self-help videos, but soon moved to webinars and quick, personalized videos for clients. This led to a quick rise in our satisfaction scores and lowered the onboarding times.

Professional Services Lead (2015 - 2017)
I scoped, quoted, and closed professional service projects. These included SQL queries, full account buildouts, and custom integrations.

The Miami Project to Cure Paralysis
University of Miami Miller School of Medicine
This is a research institute focused on finding a cure to a number of central nervous system problems, but mainly centered on paralysis. It focuses on basic science research and taking those findings all the way through the process, finalizing with clinical trials.
Research Associate in the lab of Dr. Mary Bunge 2009 –2014
I ran in-vitro (using live cells) and in-vivo (giving treatments to live animals and performing post-treatment analysis) experiments. On completion, I collected and performed the first level of analysis on the results. After the final analysis, I substantially contributed to writing and editing the presentations, scientific articles, and grants. Through my time there, I wrote and conducted research required for an accepted R01 grant and two other proposed NIH grants.

Information Technology Services
University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (2007-2009)
I provided in-person support to clientele ranging from undergrad students to the local NPR station to scientists with sophisticated setups.
Profile
I am a data-driven worker. Everything I do stems from finding data points and then acting on the results. This comes from hard data (like SQL and statistical analysis) or soft data (like customer interviews and colleague interactions). I work best when a question arises and have the freedom to find the answer, as it often allows me to explore the unknown and get a better understanding of the whole picture.

Other Experiences
Poll Working
Nov 2020 - Present
I have worked as an inspector and a clerk in the local, state, and federal elections to serve my community. My attention to detail and familiarity with processes helps ensure that the voting experience for my neighbors is smooth.

Alhambra Circle Condominium Association
President 2019-2021, Secretary 2018-2019
I oversaw the painting and refurbishment of the building's exterior and began the process of collecting funds and bidding for an elevator overhaul. This was all a part of my plan to ensure long-term building health.
